Identical except for the fact that the PS3 version will have better sound (uncompressed audio) and better picture (1080p cutscenes). Oh yeah and then there's also the multiple disks.
Yeah to bounce back you have to go from the top to the bottom and then to the top again. This isn't the way the PS3 has been going it is just like a ramp it just keeps getting better.
Funny vid. Many of this years games will be compared to last years games eg Reach:Killzone 2, GT5: Forza 3, Uncharted 2: (Splinter Cell, Heavy Rain and any other game that has a decent story).
I own both L4D and L4d2 (I got the combo pack at steam) and I have to say the game is fun online and it's bloody as hell but if you intend to play it as a offline by yourself it is boring as hell. There is no story it is just a different scenario each time and there is absolutely no character development. The characters are all stereotypes. The next iteration needs a story and characters that you can actually care about whether they survive or not.
Graphics seem a little weak and the facial animations lack expression. I'll wait until I see more gameplay footage to make my decision on whether or not to buy this game. It definitely won't be the game that takes the graphics crown from Uncharted 2.

Heavy Rain may also surprise.
When you don't have many games to buy on a system everyone tends to buy the same thing. 360 has no games.
Actually the 360 has no games. Besides Halo 3 and Gears 2 what is worth playing that I can't play anywhere else? Its funny that MS had to hold back half of its 2009 lineup just to have a 2010 that could compete with sony, and even then it fails.
Based on travelling the world we have the dumbest population which could be why this is the strong hold for the 360.
PC / PS3 combo is the best you get all the good games with the exception of Halo. If I had to add another it would be the wii because there are more exclusives.

Even the "exclusive" 360 titles suffer poor quality. I mean take ME2 it is gonna look and play better on almost every PC. And you people who can't afford a gaming PC have you tried to play any PC games on the PC you own? My sh1tty toshiba notebook I got for a few hundred at walmart last year plays ME and L4D with no problems. Granted it doesn't look as good as my gaming PC but the point is you can play the game. People need to forget the notion that you need to spend thousands ...
I think the commenters on the article have it right. The tv wasn't grounded and the PS3 was so the HDMI shorted the tv chassy. It has nothing to do with the type of cable.

Considering the game is made on the PC having a quick demo from a PC seems reasonable.
Just finished Indigo Prophecy in preparation. I know they got nothing to do with each other but getting out of the fps/adhd headspace is a good thing when games actually require you to think.
Anyone who is unsure of Heavy Rain should play Indigo Prophecy. If you can get into that game then I am sure you will get into Heavy Rain.
Full releases take too long to download with torrents and they always are sketchy. But anything like trine, or world of goo or braid don't take long and are usually pretty solid.
We'll see when Versus gets released if XIII was gimped by the 360. If versus has twice the content of xiii then yeah it was gimped. A lot of people are saying that versus is going to be the real FFXIII. I don't know if it will but I will be playing both.
